The first leg of the limited registration exercise ended in all districts of the Upper West Region without any major incident. The W93.5FM and STAR-Ghana lambuuri project continued the usual monitoring across the length and breadth of the Upper West Region confirming observed this.

The Electoral commission and its officers are currently on a day’s break and are expected to resume the exercise at the other designated registration centers for the second leg of the exercise for the next five days coming to an end on Sunday 8th May.

Monitoring so far has revealed that most registration centers registered the highest number of first timers on the final day of the first phase of registration.

The W93.5FM and STAR-Ghana Lambuuri project is still vigorously carrying out the radio sensitization which is getting a lot of applause from the Electoral Commission politicians, and other civil society groups.
